Faux Fall

Since the effects of global warming are especially prevalent in the New England area, it is more than necessary to dress in layers. Within a twelve hour day at work with my commute, the weather can fluctuate a whole 30 degrees.

The temperature is always the coldest in the morning, so the first thing I do when I wake up is check my weather app. This helps me to decide whether I want to base my outfit around a dress or top and pants (I hardly ever wear skirts).

Needless to say, it was a pant day! However, the sun’s rays were beating down bright enough to walk around without a jacket. This vest was just enough for me.

I recently decided to switch my hair up for fall also. It is something I still have to get used to, but I definitely needed a little upgrade to the light blonde color from summer.

Remember these little suede booties from an earlier post? Still on sale, folks! Super cute and comfortable as well.

This tote will have been mine for 5 years this winter! It still looks good as new and I use it all the time. If you are looking for a great investment piece that will last, I strongly recommend checking out all that Louis Vuitton has to offer. I have also been using a monogram wallet that I purchased with this tote every single day for the last five years.

In the next fashion post this week, I will let you know where I scored this long comfy shirt. I always love being introduced to unique brands and new ways to shop. Hint hint: It includes your very own personal stylist! What’s better than receiving new clothes right at your door that you don’t even need to pick out yourself?!

What are your favorite items to layer with? Do you have any go-to investment pieces?
